A 10-strong crew from Wessex Water and GPS Panels will paddle from Bath to Bristol on October 15, to raise money for WaterAid.
The colleagues will make the 18 mile journey from Pulteney Weir to Bristol Docks in a dragon boat, and have set themselves eight hours to complete the challenge.
The fundraiser has been organised by Business4life, a team of 12 different companies who joined together for a year to raise more than £30,000 for the charity.
One of the organisers, Kerry Wyatt, of Wessex Water, said: "We have attended weekly training sessions held by Rob Britton of Bristol Empire Dragons to prepare for the challenge. We would really like to thank Rob and his team for kindly donating their time, use of the club facilities and the dragon boat free of charge."
All the money raised by Business4Life will be donated to WaterAid, in particular a project in Gao, Mali, providing access to clean water for 4,000 people and sanitation services for 5,000. To sponsor the team visit www.just giving.com/B4L DragonBoatChallenge.
