Dangerous River Conditions Continue
Saturday, 04 January 2014 16:11
Please be aware that the river Avon is currently swollen and it's advisable not to get in it in any craft be it motorised or paddled. Whilst levels have dropped it is still in flood. Please note that there will no training until conditions improve - if you are a club member check the forum for updates. If you are a non member please keep checking here. Be safe - you only have one life, live it, but live it safely.Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our past, present and future team mates (in Bristol and Wraysbury).
From the New Year Sunday sessions will start at 9am and finish at 11am this gives you all more time on Sunday to do other things. There will be Saturday O1 sessions again at 9am (or at a time aranged with each other) in all cases please use the Forum to arrange.
The Bristol Empire Dragon Boat Team racing as TAO with our team mates in Wraysbury had a fantastic 2013 race season beating every team at a distance somewhere on the circuit the first timethis has been achieved. We finished 3rd overall and so far in the Henley Winter Series of races we are the best club crew. To do this continually we need more paddlers to join us in this high adrenalin sport - so if you want to join us follow the link on this page.
In 2014 we will be arranging starter sessions as well as our normal crew training to hopefully encourage more of you nto this sport - watch this space for details.
In 2014 we are hoping to announce some exciting news - so watch out for an announcement here and in the press.
We hope to see you in the New Year - why not make a New Years Resolution to contact us and come and have a go - burn off all the Christmas excess, go on, you know you want to - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
